Director of Marketing
Jonathan E. Young is an experienced fundraising and marketing expert with a passion for using cutting-edge strategies to drive measurable results. With over 8 years of hands-on marketing experience, he is dedicated to creating fundraising and marketing campaigns that resonate and engage donors and customers through various social avenues.
Currently serving as the Director of Annual Giving at Utah State University, Jonathan provides key leadership in the creation and execution of gift acquisition strategies, including all aspects
of the university’s Annual Giving Program. He excels in collaborating and forging partnerships with members of the USU advancement team, Athletics, and collegiate fundraisers to inspire giving and engagement.
In addition to his work at USU, Jonathan also served as a Social Media Manager and Brand Ambassador for several US and international brands, where he oversaw social media campaigns, managed ambassadors, and ensured that content calendars were met. He also worked with marketing leads to create effective social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
In his spare time, Jonathan spends a lot of time outdoors with his 5 boys and wife Jessica enjoying nature and creating content for several outdoor brands. He is a visionary with a deep understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies and a proven track record of creating marketing campaigns and events that drove and increased revenue through social media. He has also helped bring awareness about the Havasupai Tribe and their needs from travelers.
