Vice-President
Hi, I’m Ash, a recent US Air Force Veteran and accomplished Event Professional. During my military service, I was honored with the Humanitarian Medal and the Air and Space Achievement Medal. Prior to my military career, I specialized in event logistics, staff, and volunteer management, gaining valuable experience building communities. Notably, I served as the Director of Volunteers and Assistant Festival Director
for the International Adventure Film Festival based in Boulder, CO.
I’ve dedicated my time and skills to various nonprofit organizations throughout my journey. As a Wish Granter for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, I witnessed the transformative power of granting wishes. I also contributed to the National Ability Center as their Marketing and Outreach Coordinator, advocating for inclusivity in the outdoor industry and adapting outdoor spaces to include people with disabilities firsthand. Additionally, I served as the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator for Wildlands Restoration Volunteers, working towards environmental restoration. I have a lot of love for the land and responsible outdoor recreation, and I passionately believe that the outdoors is for everyBODY.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality with a concentration in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management. I am pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. My passion lies in promoting inclusion in the outdoor industry, focusing on making adaptive equipment and trails more accessible for individuals with disabilities and helping allies to open their circles and invite in a more diverse group of people.
As the Vice President of the everyBODY on trails board, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded communities, nonprofits, and industry brands – as together we can make a meaningful impact and further the everyBODY on Trails mission. Together we can work to create a more inclusive and accessible world for everyone; thank you for showing up, and happy trails!
